Looking Back..
I look at the classes as professors. The lessons they left me with, the impact their comments had on my writing and everything in between. It has been a pleasure and an honor to be able to work with such brilliant minds and as I wrap up my writing minor it is only correct if I talk about the coursework I did as an ode to all the wonderful Professors that that did so much to shape the kind of writer I am today.
This class truly gave a Freshman from India who didn't have any idea what research had to do with writing to what all really goes in making a piece of writing "academic". Prof. Sanz really challenged us to pursue our interests and be creative in a space that doesn't have much room for creativity, which really helped me find my voice as a writer - i.e. how to make something that is not that interesting, interesting.
